23 July 2012 | Bahia de Alcudia
Tracey
Took this photo while anchored in a cala. Mum was down below, but it just looked like this baby had his own boat all too himself. He was totally content and sat in his chair while his Mum busied herself with other things.

After much deliberating over our batteries we finally accepted defeat and decided they needed to be replaced, well 2 of them.  By a process of elimination we found that out of the 7 batteries 2 of them were totally dead.   So while we were anchored in this really sheltered bay called Bahia deAlcudia, went ashore and invested in 2 batteries.  I am pleased to say, it did the trick, no more warm white wine and no warm beer for Jack Sparrow!......  Bahia de Alcudiais quite positively the calmest bay I have ever been in, totally protected, though not very clean water, not good for swimming but great for getting provisions.

About:
We have bought a Sun Odyssey 45.2 and is called Why Not. Richard is going to be Captain, (with my permission) and I am going to be cook, navigator and chief bottle washer. So if we get lost, it will be my fault and I will have to walk the plank, especially now that he thinks he is Jack Sparrow. [...]
