A lesson in light winds

We rejoined BBH on Tuesday afternoon as the winds died back down and the sun eventually came back out. On Wednesday, we ventured out and circumnavigated Great Cumbrae again but the other way round this time and in very light winds to start with. Anchored in White Bay at the North end for lunch. Picked up a buoy in Millport using new berthing gizmo at tea time. Lots of seals out on the rocks. Back to Largs as strong winds forecast overnight (which turned out to be gusting up to 40+ knots). Learning new stuff all the time and milking every drop of excitement from these days but the combination of the weather forecasts and the land based "things to do" that we have coming up are keeping things a little more low key than we'd like. All to play for later.
