So after a few weeks of shore leave that included loads of family time, we made it back to the boat on Sunday 14th June. Monday saw us vacate berth L6 in Largs, heading West. Initially we thought we'd stay in Tighnabruich overnight but after picking up a buoy at lunchtime, we decided we'd be too exposed to the wind so headed off to, yes you've guessed it, Tarbert! Having got there, we decided to stay for a few days. This relaxing thing takes some getting used to but we're getting there! We also wanted to keep in touch with various people. And, yet again, the weather was against sailing. So we chilled out and walked to mile 4 on the Kintyre Way and back and took in two Forestry Commission trails too. We also explored White Shore at the edge of town. But it was definitely time to leave the Clyde and a plan was formed.
