After a heavy spring clean of the boat and visit from BFFs Jane and Judith we managed a very, very hectic trip home, seeing loads of friends and family, from fish and chips on Dungeness Beach (Lyme for Martyn) to a reunion at Hill Head plus buying lots and of course the main reason for the trip, attending the wedding of the decade... so called because it has taken Liz and Nic 17 years to get around to it...and cos I was there at the beginning (cilla!) we had to be there on the special day, which was indeed wonderful. The UK weather behaved beautifully (better than the med at the mo!) so all was perfect...
It was great to see everyone (except Louis who is coming out to sicily soon yay!) and also good to get back to Pleiades and the cats for a rest before we set sail next week (weather permitting!)
