Thursday 24th June
Ares to Corme 35 miles. Sunny and no wind. Wind filled in force 4 or 5 Northerly. Anchored in Corme Harbour. Weird (ugly even) town but beautiful countryside and harbour with lots of mussel beds (vivieros) Local delicacy is Goose Barnacles (Percebes). Must try them??!!
Its wind generator land around here. I reckon if you asked someone what they did it would be something windy!
Friday 25th June (Happy Birthday Beth! We had a Contessa in the anchorage with us that reminded us of you guys!)
Corme to Camarinas 15 miles. Good sail and mackerel catch. Plus poetry from Lord Byron (Get us!!!)
Camarinas is after the makeover whereas Corme is before. Cute seafront and harbour. Having a beer at 8pm it was still 20 degrees and sunny. La vida es muy bien.
