Free Berthing - How refreshing
24 October 2010 | La Caletta
Friday 22nd October
Clear blue sky, warm onland and very calm sea tempted us to move on... motor sail and then a wee sail. Dodging the massive steep granite plug of the Isola Tavolara (apparently excellent for diving so we will be back!) the Isola Molara and lots of shallow reefs. A few boats about today and a bonza backdrop (running out of superlatives!!) The pilot book said that Caletta where we were headed was nothing to write home about... But we loved it. Pretty little seaside town and port (popular with Sardinians for holidays apparently. 2miles of sandy beach and not many buildings) And a free berth for 12 hours... So we celebrated (with hot showers..) Wilson had a stand off with a sausage dog....
