Noisy fish in Igoumenitsa Creek
28 June 2011 | Mainland Greece
Sailing holidays flotilla came in to Petriti. They were leaving early next morning as a blow (7 & 8s) was coming so we left too and shot across to Igoumenitsa creek. Very sheltered. Raced our nbfs (in a Bavaria 36. They won) Caught another tuna on the way.
Only ten miles across to the mainland. Cajun Tuna, plus star filled and comfie night at anchor. Walked along the sand dunes the next day passed a pond full of sunbathing terrapins. Many goats, white egrets and jumping fish too...Jumping all night in fact. Very noisy - for a fish!
