Eff Harry Stow Greece - Still swimming in the sea... The Girls brave it. 23 degrees.
24 October 2011 | Kalimnos
Swapped to our new crew, Kathryn and Paul. Paul only for three days sadly.
Their first night was super windy and moored in Kos Harbour was fairly bumpy. Added to the discomfort was some druggie who decided to get onboard, run around shouting for help at 3am and then run off and try to undo our mooring lines... scarey stuff. But I think my shouting scared him off. Marty always says I can turn a man to stone with one look, so perhaps he is right.
After that we had a lovely sail over to Kalimnos with a big turtle floating by on the way. A brief swim in the sea and overnight at Vathy (cos we like it!) and another pleasant sail around the island to Kalimnos Town (Pothia) (home of the sponge divers) which was actually nicer than the pilot book suggested.
