Day 14 Supplemental News Flash!!

30 May 2016 | Soul Sailing Worked!
Rod
Monday, May 30 Really late. Still Day 14. The Soul Sailing technique has paid off, and we have made the gybe, re-established a direct course to Dutch Harbor, and are happily and gloriously sailing along at 3.3 knots toward destination. Now, we know this is slow. There is a current we are sailing against. Our boat speed is actually 4 knots. Hopefully, this current will diminish as we travel north. The wind is filling in and is now 8 to 9 knots. We expect it to build during the night. Now, go toast a drink to our good fortune. See? I told you this was good stuff! Thanks to all of you who believed in us, and a super big thanks to our dear friend and weather router Bob, without whose advice we would have missed the "surf's up" call. Bob, you're the best. Thank you!

All best and hugs to all of you.

As always, be excellent to each other.
