Ray here - Sunny - very warm! Yeehaaa!
Repair update...everything is back together and (for now) working well. There was a bad connection from the new alternator stator to the tach, so we ran a new wire there and that solved that problem... There also was a wire missing from the built in regulator on the alternator to the hot side of the ignition switch...got that rewired and now gauges are working again and the alternator is putting out like a champ! Weird day though as today decided to be both windy and sunny...we cranked 19.5 volts through the solar panels to push 270 watts per hour, and an addition 340-370 watts per hour through the wind generator...needless to say...our batteries are full! Note to self: Don't count on this too often...today was a weird day).
