It is the first of June today and I saw a child wearing a winter coat and woolly hat yesterday...

At 11 am we have an appointment with the commodore of the yacht club. He has sent us lovely old-fashioned emails and explained about sailing courses for kids etc. He probably thinks that we will be spending the whole summer in Turku (heaven forbid!)

A loud rattling noise outside the porthole tells me that Baltic Princess is on her way to Stockholm. Quinn hisses 'Oude Niedorp Way Of Life' over my shoulder (and he is right: in Oude Niedorp the favourite past time is observing what the neighbors are doing1)

This evening we fly home, via Stockholm and June is going to be one of the most hectic (teaching) months of this year. At least I have managed to catch up on sleep on 'Baltic Queen'....
