Today was a chill day. The morning started with a misty morning haze and it was pretty cold. By the time we had breakfast, the sun was burning through the haze. I spent the morning putting safety equipment back together. Quinn helped with the bigger items such as the liferaft.

We took our dinghy Princess Ransom to West Mersea at lunch time. It is very picturesque. Loads of children were fishing for crabs, small fishing boats aplenty and people enjoying their Easter brake. We had fish and chips for lunch and returned for the afternoon shift onboard.

Brendan and I returned for a second visit ashore. We went to the West Mersea Yacht Club. By now the tide was very low. It is Springs today. We were relieved to find a channel with water to get back to Queenie. Quinn and I cooked dinner. Tomorrow, we may be a bit more adventurous and go somewhere again.
