Left Nassau at first light on Thursday (28th). We sailed over the Great Bahama Bank overnight - brave of us with only a couple of metres under the keel! It helps that as we move north darkness falls later - around 8pm at present. We exited the Bank into the Florida Straits early this morning and decided to head for Jacksonville in one hit; our weather guru says only a few light squalls likely and nothing compared to what's coming next week when the effects of the Tropical Wave will be felt.

We are having a lively sail up the east side of the Gulf Stream today and will probably move into it to cross over during the early hours when the wind comes from NE to east and drops a bit- we hope!
