Michael & I just attended the Safety at Sea Seminar, a prerequisite for the Transpac. This was a great seminar and I recommend it to anybody going offshore or making coastal passages. The boat continues to get fine-tuned by the crew. We will practice as a team both Tuesday and Wednesday in preparation for Thursday's start.

Tuesday night we decided to have an open house / send-off party on the boat. If you can read this, you are invited! The boat is in the Rainbow Marina across from the Hyatt Long Beach. I expect we will start the Mai Tais about 5:30. Please e-mail or call my cell if you can come by.
