Memories
Found this blast from the past in Orange Park, FL. Boy it sure brought back memories from my early years growing up in Fayetteville, NC - cruising up Bragg Blvd in my 55 Chevy to the KFC, then across the street to Papa's Drive-in, then back down the hill to the Micky's D's on Friday and Saturday nights. Showing off your current girlfriend and checking out the other hot cars.
Park and I met with the producers and director of the movie that Park's boat, Lee Shore, is going to be in. Weather that Monday was 72, sunny with a southerly breeze of about 10 knots. Director wanted to go out that day to shoot but the lead actress was still on her way from Atlanta, so the decision was to leave at first light Tuesday. Boy what a difference a day makes down here. Woke up to rain, NE wind of 16 knots and 50 degrees. It sure was a wet and cold day on the water. We even got boarded by the Coast Guard on the way back.
Gwyn and I will be part of the casting call on Thursday. Gwyn will be playing a doctor and I will be a Turkey citizen during the great earthquake of 1999 that killed 17,000. Weather here has been cold and wet for the last two days but is going to warm up into the 70's by the weekend.
