Having discussed our plans to sail directly to Great Keppel Island after we were put back into the water so we could meet up with my brother Rob on Sunday, we motored the boat around to the travel lift for a quick inspection. Reversing it into the sling was no mean feat but Jim completed it in style and then smiled as the boat was first lifted high above the marina and then moved on the trolley to the inspection yard.

Jim stopped smiling shortly after. He had his third clue that something was wrong when he saw the stunned faces down below looking up at our rudder.
