It’s getting closer

This morning we started our day by re-affixing the old anchor chain and rode (line) on the windless and attaching the new anchor, repacking the anchor locker, and re-stowing all the forward stuff we are carrying up there. Then since the wind was light and perfectly in front of us we raised the sail most of the way and finished some rigging then took a look at the reefing lines...hmm one of the forward ones needs to be adjusted and one of the aft ones. All in all...not too bad considering the way you have to work to get the stuff done in the first place.
Anchor's ready...sails are ready....time to re-run the new dingy hoist system for our new dink. We had a few hiccups on that one, but finally made it work (still need some more things at Budget though). Raymond came, fixed up a cracked water hose, finished up the engine and pronounced the engines READY to Launch! Yippee.
One more trip to Budget for me while Jim waits for the Life Raft to be delivered. I forgot I was alone without my Sherpa to carry most of the stuff, and had so many bags that my kind Budget friends needed to give me a ride back to the boat. Tomorrow - the new grill gets put up.
