Spending the week relaxing in Deshais was the best idea as the winds piped up as predicted and we were soon experiencing 30 knts. The anchorage was fine, though, and we enjoyed sitting out the weather here. Monday, we rented a car and drove to the Carrefour mall and did a lovely big shop in one of our favorite stores. Monday afternoon, some friends of our Swedish friends Bosse & Helene, Arrived in their boat, Flying Penguin and we finally had a change to meet them. Tuesday we had a lovely happy hour on their boat and caught the first green flash of the season.

Today we celebrated my Birthday with a wonderful French pastry, and did not venture off the boat as this was the biggest wind day and we were happy to sit, well secured. On Thursday, we did some shopping and checked out of customs for Friday departure. Farewell, pretty and secure Deshaies.
