Tuesday, January 7, 2014 We threw a party…No one came

We are in Crown Bay Marina, where we have been since Saturday, doing boat chores, and getting ready for Louise and Megan to arrive…yesterday. However the awful weather in the Midwest and Northeast delayed and delayed them. It was supposed to be today…and now it looks like it will be Thursday…before they can get here, so here we sit, so sad and waiting for our friends. The good news is they planned to stay 2 weeks, so we will still have lots of time when they do arrive. And we are grateful they are safe and not stuck somewhere like thousands of other unfortunate passengers…but we are still waiting!

In the meantime we do our regular shopping madness, and manage to enjoy dinner with OJ. Well at least I do….Jim is severely under the weather yesterday so stays on the boat attempting to recover, and I bring him some great pizza from The Pie Whole – yummy!

We discovered a problem with our wind indicator that we are trying to trouble shoot, with the assistance of Herman…and had Joseph replace the glow plugs on the starboard engine, which now starts like a champ! So, as usual we are getting things done here, while we wait.
