RELAPSE

17 June 2013 | Kuching
We took the bus into Kuching for some sightseeing. It is a very pretty & clean city, with museums galleries & souvenir shops to keep everyone happy. Kuching means cat so we thought we would start at the cat museum. The best thing about it was the view of the city from outside. The collection inside the building was just that albeit very extensive nothing very enthralling. Just as well the entry was free

Our favourite was the Swarwak museum. An old fashioned museum with an assortment of stuffed animals, weapons, skeletons etc . Among its exhibits the contents of a crocodile's stomach; a giant hairball about 10cm diameter with a set of dentures attached and a watch that had been attached to an arm (only the watch on display not the arm!)
