Yesterday, the 5 of us went up to the Mendenhall glacier and Nugget Falls. Afterwards we visited the Alaskan Brewery. Last night we all ate on board and enjoyed 9 boy chicken curry! After dinner I took Mike and Jim back to their hotel. When I got back to the boat we watch episode 1 of Victory at Sea! Then crashed!
Today we made a Costco run, Fred Meyer run( for items not carried at Costco), then returned the rental car. The three of us then walked down to McGivney's pub and had Calamari appetizers and lunch.
We depart Juneau tomorrow morning for Auke Bay (11 miles by car, 30 nautical miles by boat). Planning one night there and then to Hoonah. Expect limited connectivity after tomorrow night till we return to Petersburg.
