We were working on the slip and boat and wind came up. Got underway and sailed to west end of Hat Island. Started out under full sail, put two reefs in the main to Hat Island. On the return trip, wind decreased and we shook out reefs. Sailed all the way back to entrance to Marina.

Underway with Pastor Cox and his family. Sailed south of Hat Island under full sail on broad reach to Langley. Moored at Langley Boat Harbor and had NC Barbecue lunch. Walked up to Langley and had Mochas and Lattes. Underway from Langley Boat Harbor under strong winds. Winds rose to near gale and we motored back to Navy Marina going north of Hat Island to provide lee for 3 miles. Saw Gray Whales near Hat Island. Heard Mayday....two kayakers we saw in Langley were in the water near Langley. Power boat rescued two people. We were too far away to assist. Moored under 10 kts of wind in Slip #5 which has just become available since Turbak's are moving their boat to Edmonds for permanent mooragel. Moored stbd side bow in. Great Berth. Engine hours 102.3

4/10/06- Notified by MWR that we can move boat to Slip #5!

Underway from Slip at 0845 to fuel dock. Refueled.16 gals at $2.56/gal. Engine hours 95.4 Underway at 0915. Motored to Strawberry point, sailed to Holmes Harbor. ICW Wildest Dream. Pumped out holding tanks, moored stbd side to pumpout station...bad angle.
Moored slip #87 at 1600. Hooked up Satellite dish.
