John treated us to fresh Blueberry muffins when we got up this morning in Silva Bay. They were still piping hot! Awesome!! After coffee and waiting for the current, we left Silva Bay and motored to Roche Harbor. We went on the Georgia Strait side of Valdes Island and entered Tricomali Channed via Porlier Pass to lessen the effects of the southerly winds we were facing. We cleared customs then proceeded to the SYC Outstation at Henry Island. It's great to be back in the US! We had a crab dip appetizer followed by the remaining filet of the king salmon Willie caught. Mike cooked the salmon to perfection on Restless' grill. We added yellow rice and stewed tomatoes. Another most excellent dinner. After dinner we watched the final two episodes of Victory at Sea! We will have a breakfast aboard Restless tomorrow before we leave. Eggs to order, sausage, bacon, toast, and cheese grits!

We left Blind Channel after an equisite dinner in the restaurant there. We left at 6am to get to Dent and Yaculta Rapids during slack..and we timed it perfectly again! We arrived at SYC outstation at Cortes Island and found slips at the head of the dock. Willie and I walked over to the beach and picked up over two dozen oysters which we had as appetizers on Restless. After our appetizers we had a taco dinner aboard Restless. The next morning Willie and I went back to the beach and picked up three dozen for our appetizers at Garden Bay.

We'll try out their restaurant tonight after appetizers ont the boat of Devils on Horsebacks (bacon wrapped scallops) and Jalepenos and cream cheese.. We'll leave early tomorrow morning for the SYC outstation at Cortes then to Pender Harbor the next day. Finally some sunny warm days..it's about time!
