Garden Bay in Pender Harbor
04 July 2012
Barrow/sunny warm
We left Silva Bay this morning at 9am under sunny skies. We hoisted the main in anticipation of sailing across the Strait of Georgia. We has a southerly but it was too light to sail the 35 miles to Garden Bay. The Strait of Georgia was flat and calm much to the delight of the ladies on board. We arrived at Garden Bay to an empty SYC outstation dock. Tonight we are joined by two ther boats...apparently most everyone that was here left this morning.we'll stay here a couple of days to shop, do laundry and clean up the boat... Prob leave Saturday or Sunday..Weather has improved significantly and is predicted to get even better!
