Mom tells me that a lot of people wanted the recipe for the Grasshopper Pie. So here it is!
1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Lime Flavor
1/4 cup cold water
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1 OREO Pie Crust
Some Mini Chocolate Chips (ok, ok LOTS!!)
STIR boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1-1/2 hours or until slightly thickened. Gently stir in whipped topping and Chocolate Chips. Spoon into pie crust. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Store leftove pie in refrigerator.
And of course you have to top it with MORE Whipped Cream!!!!!! I hope you all like it!
Just a quick post to let everyone know I'm not dead. ^^ Just kidding. Lifes been very busy lately. We are heading up to Marie's in two days for Forth of July! Gotta run! Later!
So I was supposed to sketch something hot. So I decided to do a kind of a Cliche. An ice cube on fire... I know, crazy huh? I want to try to freeze some alchol (hence the try part.) and light it on fire! *Whoosh!* But since you can't freeze alchol I could try to do something different. I'll keep you posted. Muahahahaha!!!!!
Anyway...... That is what I decided to sketch as being kinda hot. I didn't want to do something completely hot because I would end up drawing myself. It is so hot here right now. yelch. Not ugggh, but yelch.
No, no, no. Not Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Chloe. Two cats in our old Marina. Mom and Dad call Romeo my boyfriend because he is just so lovable! He sleeps on my head every night. (In the morning I look white headed.)
But it can get a little annoying. Like when I'm trying to make my bed. I have to lock him out of the room. Then he sits on the outside until I'm finished. So this morning we started cleaning up the house and Romeo went on a puking spree. -.- I thought we'd never get out. But get out we finally did. And now we are on the road. We just dropped Mom off at the eye doctor to see what's going on with her vision. And now I'm getting a little car sick so I think I shall end this post.
As of right now my favorite band is Basshunter. I have some of their music on my side bar. Most of their music is in Swedish. Mom and Dad haven't really gotten used to me walking aroud singing in Swedish yet I think though. ^^ I really like them. They have some really good songs. My favorites so far are... Boten Anna, DoTA, and I can walk on water, I can fly. I can walk on water, I can fly is in English as are some of their other songs. Alot of them are also more like dance music I guess. Mostly music and very few words. I don't like them as much as I like Boten Anna, DoTA, and I can walk on water, I can fly.
What are some of your favorite bands?
Why the growl? Verizon. Well I guess it's not really Verizon but a contract they just got. The Government put up one of those Wireless road signs. Like they use them for Traffic reports but they mostly say (In the Keys) Click it or Ticket. Anyway... They have Verizon and they are using our bandwidth! You'd think they would have their own Bandwidth. -.- And we have on of those signs right on the part of the road by the Marina. So we have been having this problem for a while now, 'bout two weeks. So before we found out about the signs and all that Mom and Dad ordered a new computer! I haven't seen it yet but I guess it just came in today. The big thing is that is has a full key board! I haven't used one of those in years. Right now we are up in Marie's House watching the kitties! (Romeo says hi) So we have access to an Oven so I'm off to most likely bake enough to feed the whole Marina up here. :P
We went and watched Prince Caspian the day it came out! All three of us went and saw it. We haven't done that since... since... We went and saw Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe! So that is kinda cool. I really enjoyed it. It followed the book quite well. (For a movie) The battle scene was not as good the first movie. (Maybe I'm just a really big Griffon fan ^^) It was really impressive though. Especially when the trees (My apologies, Dryads.) came into the scene. With their great big roots going clear to the other end of the field. I think my favorite parts were the Last Battle, of course, and the Griffon attack. (Did I mention before that I like Griffons?) And because I havent read the books in a while we got the book on tape and listened to that on our road trip. (A whole 'nother post on its own) I think they did a very good job. Five stars!

Well we finally did it! I made an electric motor! (My apologies to all of you who have been waiting so long and having to deal with short choppy posts)
So first of we took a simple paper cup and put three magnets on the bottom...
And two on the top.
Then we took some wire and made an Armature. (It's not really an Armature right now but it will be soon!)
We made sure it was nice and tight by tying it on the ends.
Then we took the insulation off the tips of our armature to be.
Now for one of the most important parts of making an electric motor. Taking an oil based marker we painted half of the wire on the left side of our armature. (It can be on the right too. We just did it on the left.)
Then we took the ends of two paperclips and straightened part of it and bent the very ends.
Then punching our paperclips into the top of the cup. (One of the hardest parts of the experiment because you have to get the height just right.)
Then hooked our armature in the paperclip. You can't really see it in the picture but a certain part likes to point up and the opposite part likes to hang down.
And plugged it in!!!!!! *Vroooom!!!*
Ok so you can't see it moving cuz the camera took it to fast. So here it is with a slow shot. This is why it is all blurry. Didn't have a good prop.
So what happened? The wire is Copper so it is not a ferrous metal (None Magnetic). But when we hooked it up to the wire and completed a circuit we made an Electromagnet. (Hence that experiment that I did earlier.) Now our wire has a north and a south pole like our other magnets. So what happens is the wire on the top is like "Oh I need to get down to the bottom cuz I'm of a different pole than that magnet so I am attracted to it." So that wire goes to the bottom. But we had put that oil based marker on part of the wire so that when that part gets to the bottom the circuit is broken and no longer an electromagnet. So the part of the wire that went to the bottom is no longer attracted so it goes back to the top in a circular motion. (This has to do with Kinetic energy and Inertia) Since we had only put the ink on half of the wire when it gets back to top the circuit is completed and the wire is attracted to the bottom again.
So we are going to continue this experiment by getting a Motorcycle and convert it to electricity! Dad just got news that we can get one with a bad motor for only $100!!! So thats good news. I'll keep you posted on how that goes! Stay tuned!
Last night we had an AMAZING chicken dinner! So in honor of that dinner I made an AMAZING Haiku! XD
I decided to do a Poem because that is what I am studying right now. I wrote another incredible one but I'll put that one up later. To write a traditional Haiku you must follow these rules: A Haiku must have three lines. The first line must have five syllables, the second seven syllables, and the third five again. The Japanese normally had a certain flower in the first line so the reader could tell what time the year it was.
So did I get all the rules?
No, no it's not the Lamborghini or the Ferrari!!! (Although it used to be!) No it's something far better! Let me introduce the Tesla and the Fetish!!!
Both are 100% electric!!!! A very nice feature to have now-a-days with gas prices soaring the electric car is the way to go!
