So, we went from a foot of snow in Maine to daffodils in Deltaville VA this week. That makes our decision to relocate feel pretty comfortable right now. We have unpacked the moving boxes and begun the process of hanging pictures and displaying chachkas to make our new house a home.
The birds are in full mating colors, staking out their territories with a symphony of chirps and tweets. The forsythias are in bloom and the buds on the trees emerge just a little further every day. All seem to be welcoming us to springtime in Virginia.
