After almost a month ashore, we are back on board. It feels good. Sailed from a Hampton to the East River in Mobjack Bay to join a Hampton Yacht Club cruise for the weekend. The sail was typical of spring sailing in the Chesapeake Bay.....gusty, blustery winds under sunny blue skies with lots of puffy white clouds. The wind was 20-25, at about 60 degrees, most of the time which allowed us to sail along at about nine knots with spikes to 12 in gusts.

Enjoyed a nice Happy Hour on Chesapeake Lady...our neighbors on the Dock in Hampton.

The wind dropped as sunset neared. A quiet, peaceful evening on one of the prettiest rivers on the Bay!
