Well, we tied up in a very friendly, but not too upscale marina to get our alternator changed out and sail repaired. Our next door neighbor, Steve, is a nice chap from Duxbury, MA who spends his winters on his boat here at Seven Seas. He is driving back to MA tomorrow. He was kind enough to take us to the grocery store where we stocked up on manly fare for our next few days. He bought a 1.5 liter bottle of wine for his last night here.
The wind is howling here, inland. The wind and waves offshore are huge, so there is no possibility of going offshore now. We'll move up the waterway for awhile. Our next stop is Charleston.
