Well we are at the moment sitting in Vogel State Park about 10 miles out o Blairsville. There is ZERO internet here and very very little cell service! I am writing this as a email and when we go to town in the morning(Wednesday), I will post it on the blog. The park here is beautiful and not crowded at all. We plan on staying here until Saturday morning at which time we plan on a 166 mile drive south just past Atlanta. We were going to leave on Friday morning, but they are calling for rain all day Thursday and Friday. Suppose to clear up Saturday. I can drive in the rain,but since we are no on a time schedule there is no need in doing it. Last night got down to 48 degrees and the high for Friday is only going to reach 52!! The last couple of days has been in the low 70's for highs. Have some pictures to post in the gallery, but cant do it until we have internet. We went sightseeing today with Bob & Dottie all around these mountain roads and landed at a gold digging ( rip off shop). After paying the $10.00 fee, we were able to shift thru dirt from Ga. and N.C.! We all did find gold, but you need a 2000 power microscope to see it. But it was something different to do. We then went to a BBQ spot for lunch. On the way back home we had to stop for some ice cream and fish viewing. Plan on just playing it by ear tomorrow and on Thursday Rose and I with no Salty, plan on driving 30 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway and go on a three hour train ride. Its suppose to rain all day,so we hope theres a roof on the train.I hope we will have better internet after we leave here on Saturday.
