Your text to link...Our friend, Captain Rob, came down this morning for a visit. He really just wanted to come down to drink all my beer and burn all my gas up in the dinghy. Well, he came close to doing both! We all four loaded up the dinghy and set off heading south right after we got back from going to Sparky's for breakfast. It must have been around 10:30 and the weather was great. We were headed for Alexander Springs Creek about ten miles from here. After going a mile or so up into the creek we came across a fisherman and asked him if this was the creek with the springs in it. He said it was, but that we would never be able to get to it in the dinghy. We kept on for another mile or so and the water got too shallow to run the motor so we had to turn around. On the way back out we saw an alligator swimming next to the shore. After getting back out in the main river Rob spotted another gator. Took video of both, posting some video of the trip on here. We got back to the boat around 3pm, and Rob brought down a pump that I needed to pump a LOT of water out of the bilge in the front of the boat. I know the boat has to be a lot lighter now. It's no telling how long that water has been in there, but we got it all out. After that, the three of us got in his truck and looked for a place to do what we do best, eat! Found a family restaurant in a small town about ten miles from here. As we were eating the bottom fell out and it was a gully washer. We made it back to the boat in between the heavy down pours, but it is still raining outside. We plan on leaving here in the morning, unless we wake up and it is raining. Not going to leave in the rain. Click on your text to link to view video...............................
