Today was suppose to be our short day,but instead it turned into one of the longest. We left Boathouse Marina in Palatak at 7 this morning and ran 78 miles in ten and a half hours! We arrived at our anchorage at around 6pm. We had planned on stopping at the west end of Jacksonville,but since it was only 3pm and we had the current with us,we decided to travel on until we reached the waterway.It was a great day travel wise and weather wise. Rob and I took two hour shifts at the wheel,but the auto-pilot did most of the steering. The crab pots were still out there but we managed to avoid them. We have a 35 mile run tomorrow to reach St. Augustine.We will get a mooring ball there and then head for Daytona on Friday. The youtube video on here is of us going thru Jacksonville around 4pm. We hope to get to St. ugustine early enough to take Salty ashore for a walk. We cooked steaks on the grill tonight and plan on ice cream and cookies later.
