We left Nassau a hour later than we usually do. We only have a 40 mile run today so it was no reason to be in to big a hurry.The crossing from Nassau to Chub Cay was on the smooth side. We were traveling with the wind so it was a hot ride.About half way over,I finally got a strike on the lure I was pulling. Rob grabbed the rod,but the fish threw the hook.We arrived here at Chub Cay at noon and anchored in 7 feet of water. We then lowered the dinghy and all three of us went to the marina for a bag of ice. It was $12.00 for a 20# bag. I would hate to sea this place in season if this is there "slow" season!! There have been a non stop line of boats coming and going since we got here. Non stop!! I tried to get the internet here but with no luck.We plan on leaving here at 4am and traveling across the bank back to Bimini. It will be our lon gest run so far. Guessing about 90 miles.And then Sunday we should make the crossing back to Fl.We will all be glad to get back. Thats it from this end.----I did get internet but it is as slow as a turtle with all its legs broke. No video but might be able to send picture. This is the second try..
