It got even more entertaining. What's that about not letting flares off without a reason? The phosphorus burns under water in a most interesting way.
The mayor made a speech to welcome us all, naming each of the local villages in turn. As their name came up, the people cheered madly. Frontignac made the biggest fuss. Being orange, of course, they let off a lot of orange smoke, which drifted northwards. There's a lot of smoke in those little canisters.
