Hello All Followers

We have had a fun different kind of travel through China.
The travel part has been a bit frustrating trying to book trains to our next destination. Not easy planning ahead and then being rushed into leaving because of a booked schedule.
Street food and the odd little restaurant has been good spicy flavoursome foods. Coffee is a downer as it costs a bomb for a cup. Now its reserved to special occasions.
Oh and has it been cold. Snow and bitterley cold winds. Last night train from Xi'an to Chengdu was amaizing especially when we went through the mountains by Qin Ling. Postcard pictures of valleys of snow.
Highlights so far have been the Wall, Pandas, Terracotta Warriors, Summer Palace and the view across the river from the Bund in Shanghai.
Next on to the Rice Paddies and warmer weather...

A week has passed and we are tired of seeing huge skyscrapers and have moved to an outer island.

Hi All

All packed and ready to go. We have our tickets passports and money...what else do we need ;-)
First stop Hong Kong with a hop and a skip through Singapore ..We will keep you all posted.

Tomorrow is D-Day!!!

Nine more sleeps and we are off......

This is a test for our new blog for South East Asia. Tickets booked to Hong Kong, visas for China and Vietnam in the bag... Now just final preparation and off we go on our new adventure. Keep your eyes peeled for updates from us... Just remember jealousy makes you nasty :-)
