Rogue Wave

Kev
The idea of a dedicated Sail Blog site is fantastic and also allows my family and friends to keep track of my voyage. There are some great writers amongst you bloggers and you should seriously put your thoughts in book form (my daughter included).
This will be my first ocean passage in my new yacht Rogue Wave. I have no doubts about her seaworthiness to complete the voyage, as she has been sailing the oceans of the world for 9 years. Her former owners, Dave and Deb sailed her from the UK across the Atlantic and Pacific to New Zealand and Australia and then up through Asia to Malaysia. With some new rigging and updated electronics she will once again be sailing fast and free instead of tied to a berth.

About: Kev is a self reliant bloke who believes one should prepare early for sailing retirement. Relle is a patient wife/grandmother waiting for her husband to retire so he will stop his moaning about working!
Extra:
For as long as I can remember I have always loved water and boats. Thanks to my parents, my first ocean passage was in 1964 when we sailed from the UK to Sydney via the Panama Canal at the ripe old age of 2 and a bit! I threw up the entire trip and the ship travelling in sight behind us, was lost [...]
