Seafood Diet

Crew
Today was another great day of easy sailing. We logged 124 miles, which isn't bad considering the sometimes fickle winds. The spinnaker was raised at 0600 and we flew it until 1530 when the angle got too tight. We are now making 6 knots again in a 15 knot SE wind. The seas are relatively calm, enabling good speed.
We have adjusted course to 035 T, heading for the north end of Vancouver Island. It is looking like the big high, which is moving north-east to the West Coast, will split. We are hoping to go across the top of the new high that forms to the south.
We just had another happy hour drink with sashimi from yesterday's catch. We also caught another 15 pound Mahimahi this afternoon. Still waiting for the big yellow fin tuna! We are really enjoying the sea food.
Rob had a ship sighting on his watch last night at 1030. Rudy confirmed but there was no radio contact! Two high-speed vessels moving from east to west, to the south of us - probably naval ships. Those have been our only sightings to date. We have also noted the fact that there have been no airline contrails sighted either. we are indeed in isolation! What is happening in the rest of the world? Do we care?
Sailing onward,
Rudy, Dave, Terry and Rob
