Marcus Update

31 January 2013 | Tenacatita, Jal, MX
Darrell
Well the blood test for Appendicitis came back negative, much to our relief. The clinic released Marcus to Dr. Nava's care for 2 weeks. Yesterday we hoped for improvement that never came. This morning we asked Legacy to help us get Marcus to shore (his dinghy is better for beach landings) and off to Dr. Nava's office we went. Marcus has not been able to keep anything down for 2 days so it's starting to get more serious. Dr. Nava says an ultra-sound is our next step and the only one close is Manzanillo. I called our friends Dwight and Mary Lou to see if they could help shuttle us around. Nicki and Marcus took a cab back to Cihuatlan (of which I incorrectly spelled on the last post). Mary Lou met them there and continued on to the hospital in Manzanillo. This is becoming especially frustrating because I am stuck on the boat with a phone running out of minutes and no way to reload it from here. Curtis and I may move the boat back to Los Hados tonight.

If anyone can make sure our families know about this I would appreciate it!

Darrell
