So now we are finally heading North again. And back to Bara de Navidad for re-provisioning and water. Yesterday we had a wonderful surprise. Over the air we heard Companero from Vallejo hailing us! Joel Sorum and his niece Micah where at Melaqui for the night on their way to Ixtapa. Joel is a dear friend from VYC and this was a great surprise for us. We had breakfast this morning at Roosters (a crazy Canadian restaurant) before they headed south for Santiago. They are planning inland excursions for old ruins, maybe next time. I hope that we run into him again.

We will only be here till Monday, then it's off to Tenacatita to wait to see how this Northerly system is going to go.
