Words fail me so here are some cool things that happened.
Amazing sail to Barbuda.
Early off along the beach and we wake Maddie up pre coffee. Not good.
Maddie not a happy camper, it’s so early she walks with her shirt on inside out and doesn’t smile for hours.
Coconuts everywhere and we harvest them with a hatchet.
Drinking coconut in the sea. Soooo Caribbean.
Skip and Iain go and harvest yet more. Litres and litres of coconut water.
Errr Coconut water is a laxative. Iain finds out the hard way.
Massive wave poops us on the beach. Never knew there were so many I’s in the word shit as Maddie sees the wave.
Take Saralane’s advice and so we walk in the midday sun. Theory is that less of you is in it, so it’s cooler!
Along the long hot road to Ronnies. Hmm lunchtime beer.
Iain skips down the road as we find out we may see Saralane again. Cool.
Nice shiny new alternator fitted. Straight out of the wrapper and in. Wow that was easy.
We say ou-revoir and not goodbye to Saralane.

Fiona the seamstress.

Ruffian and Saralane play nicely together.

The view from the front.

Not a cloud in the sky and all the sail we have.

Iain finds the sailing just too much.

Moody Ruffian.

Miles and miles and miles of beaches with nothing but footprints.

And lovely water.

Yo yo yo. Another selfie and check out Maddie’s inside out top. It must be early.

Iain hunts n gathers and who ever knew that coconut is a laxative.

It doesn’t get any more Caribbean that this.

Talk about getting into your engine.

Ahh. A shiney new alternator.

The road is long.

Maddie really really really wants that piece of driftwood.

Homeward bound with yet more coconuts.

Saloon de la Barbuda. A hair saloon with an unsurpassed view.
