We are surrounded by blue - different shades of blue water and blue sky. It's fair to say that this is why they named these islands Blue Ground Range, Blue Field Range, etc.

The weather is unstable at the moment so we pushed 4 miles up to Blue Field Range. Yesterday, we heard a sailboat trying to hail Bluefield Range Resort all day with no response. So, today as soon as we were safely anchored, we took the dinghy on shore hoping to meet Ricardo, who supposedly owns the resort and can help you with supplies from the city. When we got to shore, all we found was 4 or 5 wooden posts, cement remnants of a dock and a bunch of garbage. I guess the sailboat hailing the rsort yesterday have the same 20 year old cruising guide that we have.

We are sharing our anchorage with a smaller German sailboat. Tomorrow, we head for Middle Cay less than an hour away where we prepare to transit out of the reefs then back into Long Cay Pass. If the weather participates, we'll be out of Belize in 4 days.
