Pickensville AL/Pirate Cove Marina

We arrived here on Sunday, 10/12 and waited out a storm and left today. It was a very rustic marina but the restrooms were clean and the folks were very friendly. Used the courtesy car to go to Pickensville to the Down Yonder Restaurant. It is good to be back in the south to get a southern meal.

We are on our way to Demopolis today. We are making the 90 mile trip because the current is increasing our speed to an average of a whopping 11 mph.

We passed some beautiful white cliffs.
