It was like a family reunion, or selling family that is. We saw everyone we had missed so much while on land and watched some beautiful boats compete in the 4 day event. Every night for days before and after was a different celebration with the famous Red Hat Party closing the event. Now sailing week is in progress with the fast hi-tech boats competing in a series of different races. While these boats are fast they cannot compete with the beauty of the classics so we are off to Guadeloupe. We are currently sailing in 13 knots of wind out of the east as usual, so we will travel the 40 miles without having to tack. This will be or first time really exploring Guadeloupe and I am looking forward to seeing more of this beautiful island.
