Underway again... to the Cook Islands

Hi. Gypsy Soul and Glenn and crew are 3 days out of Bora Bora (yes, THE Bora Bora) and transiting to the Cooks after staying the visa limit in French Polynesia. Here is the latest via SailMail (knowing of course, that there'll always be a few notations on what broke):
"Bora Bora great for fun but lousy for fixing stuff. We were anchored in front of the "famous Bora Bora Yacht Club." But the high pressure line in the watermaker blew a hole so we have spent the day trying to fix - first new hose, but none. Then repair old hose. Will reinstall tomorrow, make water and be ready to go again on Sat morning. Fridge fans froze up and got new ones. Also the jib needed repair so I took the ferry to Raiatea and the sail repair lady replaced the luff (back) of the sail. It was tattered from all that flapping I guess. Frustrating; always fixing stuff. Would like to spend some time in the water. Once again the definition of cruising: fixing your boat in exotic ports.
Will depart with Mostly Harmless and maybe another boat all heading to Roratonga. Weather reports on Southern Cross Net sound good. All 10-20 kts. Been raining every night. Last night quite hard. I wonder if it's just around the island or more general. My guess is it's around the island."
For me (Barb) it is heartwrenching torture to be land based. But when friend Adam, who we met in Mexico on Estrella, sent his latest blog from the Sea of Cortez, I decided I could feel a part of the yachtie life again by getting a Gyspy Soul website up and running. And sending periodic weather forcasts to the passagemakers. So stay tuned on this site, and send G and Renee and Cary best wishes.
