Well if not for a reminder from Emirates I would have missed my flight,I had made a mistake with the booking to get to Rio in time to connect. So up early and had breakfast and then last things into my travel bags. We then headed off to say goodbye to Chris and Tjarda and then caught a taxi to Mar Grande and then the ferry to Salvador. On the way out the ferry got stuck on the sand bar for a few minutes. Once I got my ticket changed at the airport Bert and I had a nice Lunch at the airport and did some wifi. Thank goodness for Wifi I had many hours to kill waiting for flights over the next 2 days.In Dubai I had a 8 hour lay over but was given meal vouchers and took 2 nice hot showers on the airport.That felt good after sitting in the plane for 14 hours. Needed the hot water to relax and unwind even thou I had traveled lying down on 3 seats ,it was still not as great as your own bed.
