Up early today and off to Mar Grande to look around for some bargains and then onto the ferry and to Salvador. We had to buy some non- slip for the boat and walked around a bit in the Pelorino having a nice per KILO lunch. Looked out for the airport bus just to have a better idea on the schedule for next week. It is a lovely cool day with lots of tourist happily snapping photos around town. Bought some nice fruit at the ferry terminal the sweetest mandarins ever. By 4.30 we were back on the ferry and heading back to Itaparika. Later we went ashore and caught up a little with e-mail . Took a nice walk along the beach road and stopped for a ice cream.
