22 September 2012.
Well not much wind this morning so Bert went up the mast to loosen the Genoa and see why it would not come down the other day. He loosened the Genoa at the top as suggested by Chris and down she came. And then he was able to inspect all the joints in the furler and check all the grub screws. That was the easy part. Over the next day and a bit we stitched the UV back onto the sail where it had come loose. If it had not been such a shoddy job done by North sails we would not have had the problem.
Later in the afternoon we went to visit Peter and Anne lese and see the the start of the new house he was building. A big project I might say, but it will be beautiful and the view stunning.
