I have been working on my website Sailing and Such quite a bit lately and have added a few things.

Most recently I have added a Sailboat Buyer's Guide which is still growing. I plan on having a pretty thorough guide here.

I have added a Dinghy page to the Cruising section.

My personal project sailboat is coming along slowly but surely, check out the progress in the Sailboat Projects/Restorations section.

Also, check out the About Me page and learn a little bit about who I am.

Sailing and Such is continuing to grow! More and more people are coming everyday to view the different resources on S&S.

I have been working on the website a pretty good bit lately.

One that I have added is a Cruising section with a few grilling tips and recipies. Also I have added a few interesting videos about anchors. They put the anchors through different tests to see which anchor really has the best holding power and can reset itself.

I have also added more to the Sailboat Project section. I have added a Mast Stepping page with some videos that show different systems for stepping and unstepping the mast.

Check out the hilarious video in the Sailing Videos page too!

Fair Winds Everyone!

Hello everyone! I have been working diligently on the website. I have created a bookstore that I have put on the website and I have selected some pretty good books that can be found there.
I also added a Sailboat Plans page, so if you are wanting to build your next sailboat or just need a project through the winter check out the different plans!
There is still alot that I need to do to the website, I am coming up with new ideas frequently but I am just one mind. If anyone has any ideas or can think of something that they couldn't find on the internet let me know! I want to give Sailing and Such some original content, incorporate some fresh ideas.
So check it out! Let me know what you think, what needs to be changed or what needs to be added!

Introducing Sailing and Such

Welcome to the blog of Sailing and Such! Sailing and Such is a website of it's own that has loads of information about sailing and sailboats. The website is pretty new as of right now but already has LOTS of information avaliable to anyone.

When I created this website, one of the main things that I had in mind was to MAKE THE HARD TO FIND INFORMATION EASY TO FIND. I myself have owned a few project sailboats and I have spent hours surfing the internet trying to find information on fixing up the particular boat I was working on. Sometimes I would eventually find what I was looking for but it was often after hours of looking. So, what I have created is a section that is devoted to linking viewers to useful websites about particular sailboats.

One of the things that people are finding most useful at Sailing and Such right now is the Sailboat Projects page. If you are working on a sailboat or considering purchasing one that may need some work you can find TONS of information on how to fix it up right on the Sailboat Porject page.

There are hundreds of links to individual owner's websites and blogs that document the work that they have done on their sailboat. From complete restorations to modifications to the cabin to make life onboard more comfortable. Another part of the Sailboat Projects section is a page that has links to many different articles or websites where people have created excellent how-to guides about the various tasks and maintenace chores that come along with owning a sailboat. I have personally looked at each project linked and made sure that were useful and not just a sloppy presentation put together.

Sailboat Projects isn't the only thing that Sailing in Such has to offer though. The website also has a free sailboat classifieds page where you can post your boat for free. It also has a section that contains many different sailing related books, from novels to how-to books, with reviews by people just like you.

Sailing and Such even has some unique how-sail videos that I have gotten from a freind that I met on the internet. They are excellent videos and really helped me with my sailing skills.

Sailing and Such is still growing every day and you can expect it be a very large website with loads of useful content in the near future.

So head on over to Sailing and Such and see just what I am talking about!

I myself am no one special, just an ordinary sailor that wants to help other sailors by providing them with some useful information.

Hello everyone! This is blog about my sailing website Sailing and Such (www.sailingandsuch.com). I have just created the website in late October and it is already growing fast!
I hope everone has time to go and check it out. I think I am bringing something new to the table, or if I'm not, I haven't found it yet and have been looking for a long time!
What make my website unique is that I have searched all over the internet trying to find information on certain boats. It seems that there is some information out there but it take so long to find it. So what I have done is created a website with a section of links to individual's websites about their specific boat. Not just any site about their boat, but sites that document work that they done on the boat, from extensive restorations to small modifications. I have a page with hundreds of links to websites that are in or by boat model so you can go and have a look and see if there are any website about your boat.
That isn't the only thing Sailing and Such has to offer though, I also have things like Free Sailboat Classifieds, Sailing Books and Novels page with reviews of different books, Sailing Videos page with exciting sailing videos and unique how-to sail videos.
I hope you go and visit Sailing and Such! Why not? You are looking for sailing related content aren't you?
