We tied up at the Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club yesterday afternoon in Channel Islands Harbor. We are moored right next to our friends, Gene, Tami, Chris & Abby on Andiamo III who happened to be almost next to us in Olympia, WA. Small world.
Wow, what a place, pool,hot tub, resturant & bar, all over looking our boat. And the nicest people too! Now we get to feel like we are somebody for a few days.
Had "the roll" on the trip down, with light winds, 3-5' seas but, were escorted by Common Dolphins for a good share of the way. It feels good to be south of Point Conception. We have done over 1900 miles since leaving Olympia, WA in May, sailing up Canada's Vancouver Island then south.
