Skiff Excursion
21 January 2011 | LaPaz
80 & sunny / Rod
Also this week, with the great weather, we took a skiff excursion over to the Magote for a look at the Whale Sharks that spend much of the winter in Bahia LaPaz. They are mostly juveniles 12 to 20 feet long, feeding in the shallows of the bay.
4 skiffs headed out that morning with a mission of Whale Sharks, beach walks & picnics. A great time was had by all & miraculously a 4 boats returned with the same amount of people. The Whale Sharks ate only plankton today.
