11 March 2017 | Granma at Museum of the Revolution
Museum of the Revolution, the building was previously the seat of government, with bullet holes in the walls from the assault during the revolution. It has an elaborate history of the revolution and the heroes of Cuba. Of particular interest in an adjoining building is the Yacht Granma encased in glass. Granma was the yacht that Castro and 18 of his compatriots took from Mexico to Cuba in 1956 that started the revolution. Surrounding the building are remnants of historical events such as the Bay of Pigs and the Cuba Missile Crisis !
